Avinti Acquired By Marshal8e6
Orem, Utah-based Avinti, a developer of malware security software, has been acquired by Marshal8e6, a Southern California security software firm. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Marshal8e6 said that Avinti's team will be immediately merged into the firm, and that it will retain a development center in Utah. The firm said that the center will focus on integrating elementes of Avinti's malware detection tools into Marshal8e6's products.
