Avinti, Richard Fleishman Protect Hedge Funds
Lindon, Utah-based Avinti, a provider of email filtering software, and Richard Fleishman & Associates (RFA), a business continuity provider for the hedge fund industry, said that the two companies are partnering to provide protection from e-mail threads for hedge funds. The two said that RFA will deploy Avinti's iSolation Server technology to protect its customers. Avinti uses virtual machine technology to monitor the behavior of email attachments at an e-mail gateway. Avinti is backed by Sequel venture Partners, Symantec, vSpring, and Wilson Sonsini.
