Avinti Upgrades Security Software
Lindon, Utah-based Avinti announced an upgrade to its security appliance, the firm said today. The company said that its iSoluation Server Version 2.1 product adds additional advanced reporting features, greater throughput, and an active content filter for stripping out harmful content from HTML emails. Avinti provides an appliance product that uses virtual server technology to test the behavior of email attachments, and filter out e-mail threats. Avinti is backed by Sequel Venture Partners, vSpring, and other venture capital firms.
