MapQuest Adopts New Logo, Navigation Scheme
Denver-based online mapping service MapQuest has rolled out a new logo and navigation scheme late Thursday, which the company said it will make easier to navigate through the service. The new logo, which rolled out last night, is featured on MapQuest.com, MapQuest Gas Prices, MapQuest Route Planner, MapQuest Developer, and its other various sites, and includes the name of those various services attached to the righthand side of the logo. MapQuest said it will also be renaming MapQuest Vibe as MapQuest Local. The move looks to be a way for MapQuest to better unify the diverse services it has been providing under a common look and feel.
