Silvernest, a startup which operates an online, roommate-matching service aimed at boomers, empty nesters, and seniors, has named Mike Emerson as its new Chief Operating Officer. Emerson was previously co-founder, COO, and CFO of Qtera, and also was VP of Live Video for Zayo Group. Emerson also served at Wazee Digital, and founded the TechWell startup incubator. Emerson is currently a mentor at the Rockies Venture Club and the TiE Rockies Accelerator Program and is on the board of VHT Studios.
