Ibotta Raises $40M For Mobile Shopping App
Denver-based Ibotta, a developer of mobile shopping and rewards software, has raised $40M in a Series C funding, from Jim Clark, the founder of Netscape, along with other investors. Acccording to the company, the new funds go towards scaling out its mobile loyalty program. Ibotta says users have downloaded its mobile app more than 10 million times. Ibotta offers up cash back rebates from hundreds of brands for purchasing particular products at retailers. The company is led by Bryan Leach.
