Amkor Technology Settles Patent Suit With Malaysian Company
Chandler, Arizona-based Amkor, which provides semiconductor packaging and test services, reported today along with Malaysian firm Carsem Sdn Bhd, that the two have settled patent infringement litigation that Amkor had pending against Carsem. Amkor had accused Carsem of infringing upon a number of its patents. The two said that Carsem will pay Amkor and undisclosed amount in a settlement, and that the two have granted non-exclusive licenses to each other's patents.
