HomeAdvisor Powers Google Helpouts
Golden, Colorado-based home maintenance and repair information site HomeAdvisor announced today that it is powering a new service from Google called Google Helpouts, which helps Google users find experts who can consult with them via video chat. HomeAdvisor said it is launching Helpouts with Google, to help Google provide information and advice on home maintenance, repair, and improvement subjects. Financial details of the deal were not announced. HomeAdvisor is owned by IAC, and is led by Chris Terrill.
