HomeAdvisor To Merge With Angie's List
Golden, Colorado-based HomeAdvisor, the online site owned by IAC that helps people locate home improvement professionals, is merging with Angie's List, a consumer review site focused on home services companies, after IAC said it would pay $500M to acquire Angie's List last night. HomeAdvisor is led by CEO Chris Terrill. This is the second time that IAC has attempted to acquire Angie's List. IAC had previously offered to buy the online consumer review site in November of 2015.
