AirCell Taps Connexion By Boeing For VP
Louisville, Colorado-based AirCell has hired a new vice president, saying this week that it has hired Frances H. Phillips as the firm's Senior Vice President of Airline Solutions. Phillips was most recently at Connexion by Boeing. Phillips has also served at American Airlines and Sony, and she has also been a consultant to Rockwell Collins, Sony, and Thales. AirCell is developing broadband Wi-Fi communications services that the company says will offer airline passengers the ability to surf the Internet, use email, and log into corporate VPNs in early 2008 from aircraft.
