Aircell Wins Hawker
Broomfield, Colorado-based Aircell, a developer of airborne communications systems, reported today that Hawker Beechcraft Corporation has selected the firm's new Aircell connectivity systems for a line of midsize business jets. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Aircell said customers of Hawker's new 750 and 900XP aircraft will be able to choose the firm's Aircell High Speed Internet or Aircell SwiftBroadband solution for install at the factory. The products provide Wi-Fi access to passengers, using a 3G, ground-based stations across the continental U.S.
