Eastwind Networks Launches New DNS Service
Salt Lake City-based Eastwind Networks, a provider of cybersecurity software, says it has released a new domain name service (DNS) product, called Eastwind DNS. The company said the software uses predictive machine learning and "multi-source threat intelligence" to detect and prevent malicious activity. Pricing on the new DNS service was not announced. Eastwind Networks said its service helps identify malicious domains before they appear in threat intelligence. The DNS service blocks access to those malicious domains within an organization.
