Eastwind Networks Names New Advisor
Salt Lake City-based Eastwind Networks, which develops cybersecurity software and breach analytics tools for the enterprise, said it has added former Teneable Network Security founder and CEO Ron Gula to its board of advisors. Eastwind Networks said Gula has been working with the Eastwind Networks CEO Paul Kraus for the past two decades. Eastwind said Gula also previously worked with the NSA conducting penetration tests of government networks and performing advanced vulnerability research, founded Network Security Wizards, and is the original author of the Dragon Intrusion Detection System. That is now part of Enterasys, which acquired Network Security Wizards back in 2000. Eastwind just picked up a grant from USTAR last week.
