IHS Buys B2B Information Firm
Englewood, Colorado-based IHS said Tuesday that it has acquired the chemical and energy portfolio assets of Access Intelligence LLC a provider of B2B information owned by private equity firm Veronis Suhler Stevenson. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. IHS said the acquisition included a business providing market intelligence and technical analysis; Chemical Week, a source of news and analysis of the chemical, petrochemical and specialty chemical market; a conference business; and more. IHS said the acquisition will help extend the breadth of information it provides to energy customers.
