New home builder
KB Home, in another move to boost the technology features of its homes, said this morning that it has linked up with
Google, to integrate its homes with Google Assistant. The homebuilder is showcasing the new integration at its new Stapleton Starlight Collection near Denver. According to KB Home, it will offer up the KB Smart Home Systems, an in-home system which will be included with new homes at select communities in Denver, Colorado; Las Vegas, Nevada; Jacksonville, Florida; and Orange County, California. Financial details of the integration deal were not announced, however, KB Home said those developments will include Google's Wi-Fi mesh systems; the Nest Hello Video Doorbell; and two smart speaker, the Google Home and Google Home Mini, among other features.
