Evolution Digital Renews Technology Ties With TiVo
Centennial, Colorado-based Evolution Digital, which develops set-top boxes, said on Thursday that it has renewed a deal it has with TiVo, for its eGUIDE programming guides. Evolution Digital said the programming guides will be powered by TiVo Metadata, and look similar to TiVo's current i-Guide. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Evolution Digital offers up its set-top boxes with IP capability, to cable operators who are shifting to IP video distribution.
