Sarcos Robotics Ups Series A To $15.6M
Salt Lake City- and Bellevue, Washington-based Sarcos Robotics, which is developing robotic exoskeletons, announced today that it has had a second close of its Series A financing, bringing the round to $15.625M. The company the additional funding brings its total raised in 2016 to more than $25M. The additional funding came from Schlumberger, which joins prior investors in the round, including Caterpillar, GE Ventures and Microsoft. The company said the funding will go towards expanding its team, commercializing its technology, and expanding sales and marketing.
