Fluid Raises $1.7M To Encourage The Sharing Economy
Denver-based Fluid, a startup which is developing a community sharing app which lets people rent items to and from their neighbors, has raised $1.7M in a seed funding round, the company announced this morning. The funding came from Grotech Ventures, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Correlation Ventures, and angels. The company's Chairman and co-founder is James Eberhard. Fluid said its marketplace helps people get the items they need at a reasonable price, and make money by sharing what they already own, and also helps the environment by reducing unnecessary consumption.
