DigitalGlobe Launches New Map API
Westminster, Colorado-based DigitalGlobe said this morning that it has launched a new, map API, aimed at helping developers embed the company's satellite imagery into mobile and web apps. The new DigitalGlobal Mapss API comes thanks to a deal with map API developer MapBox. DigitalGlobe said the move will help more developers tap into the company's library of satellite imagery, which is already in use on many online mapping services.
