Sling TV Launches Sling International
Englewood, Colorado-based Sling TV said Friday that it has renamed its DishWorld international TV streaming service to Sling International. Sling said its service offers up nearly 200 channels in 18 languages, starting at $15 per month. DishWorld has been offering up content in Arabic, Bangla, Brazilian, Cantonese, Filipino, Gujarati, Hindi, Malayalam, Mandarin, Punjabi, Taiwanese, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and Vietnamese, under the DishWorld name since at least 2012. The new service is being rolled up under its Sling TV efforts as a separate subscription option. Sling TV is owned by DISH Network.
