Instructure Raises $40M, Eyes IPO
Salt Lake City-based Instructure, which develops education and learning management software, said last week that it has raised $40M in a funding round. The funding was led by Insight Venture Partners, and also included Bessemer Venture Partners and EPIC Ventures. According to the company, the "pre-IPO investment" will finance the launch of a new, enterprise-focused corporate learning platform called Bridge. The company has now raised a total of $90M. Instructure is led by Josh Coates.
