Instructure Raises $8M
Salt Lake City-based Instructure Canvas, the startup developing education management systems, and which is headed by Mozy founder Josh Coates, said today that it has raised $8M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by OpenView Venture Partners, EPIC Ventures, TomorrowVentures and Tim Draper of Draper Fisher Jurveston. Instructure develops software used by school districts and universities to manage things like grading, online testing, handing assignments, and much more.
