Instructure Gets $30M More For Education Tools
Salt Lake City-based Instructure, the developer of K-12 education software which is headed by Josh Coates, has scored $30M more in funding this morning, in a Series D round. Instructure said the funding was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, and also included its prior investors, including EPIC Ventures, OpenView Venture Partners and Tomorrow Ventures. Instructure says it has now raised $50M in funding in total. Instructure said it will invest the funds in Canvas, the company's learning management system for the college, university, and K-12 eudcation market.
