Zayo Looks To Make AWS Direct Connections Quick, Easy
Boulder-based bandwidth provider Zayo Group said this week that it is looking to make it very easy for its customers to connect directly to Amazon Web Services (AWS), via a new online feature. Zayo said it will allow customers to connect in under 60 minutes to AWS Direct Connect--the program which gives AWS users a direct, dedicated link to Amazon's data centers--via its Tranzact shopping platform. Zayo said the service is available to all of its existing Ethernet and IPVPN customers. Zayo has direct connections to AWS in New York City, Los Angeles, San Jose, Seattle, Ashburn, Va., and London.
