Craftsy Finds $50M
Denver-based Craftsy, the online learning site focused on creativity, said Thursday that it has raised $50M in a Series D funding round. The funding was led by Stripes Group, and also included Foundry Group, Tiger Global, Adams St. Partners, Access Venture Partners and Silicon Valley Bank. Craftsy--which is led by John Levisay--said the funding will go towards strategic growth. Craftsy allows users to sign up for online classes and videos all about hobbies like quilting, sewing, cake decorating, and much more. Craftsy--formerly known as Sympoz--has now raised around $100M.
