Exelis Wins $517M Contract
IT services firm Exelis said Wednesday that it has won a $517M contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, to provide enterprise information management and information technology support service. The announcement came out of the Colorado Springs office of Exelis, which houses a number of divisions of the company. Exelis said the win is with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer (USACE) Research and Development Center is Vicksburg, Mississippi. Exelis said it will provide information management and information technology support services to more than 37,000 users at the site, in a contract that covers a base year plus four one-year options, extending until 2019.
