Limelight Networks Gets 100th Patent
Tempe, Arizona-based content delivery network operator Limelight Networks reports that it has received its 100th patent, which covers optimizing the performance of an Internet connection between an edge server and a user device. The patent, U.S. Patent 8,750,155, names Bradley B. Harvell, Joseph D. DePalo, Michael M. Gordon, and Jason L. Wolfe as inventors. Limelight filed for the patent back in August of 2012. Limelight said its first patent was granted in 2007.
