Tendril Wins Seattle Utility
Boulder-based Tendril reported this week that it has signed up Seattle City Light, a public utility delivering electricity to Seattle, as a partner, to deploy the company's platform. Tendril said that Seattle City Light is the 10th largest public utility in the world, and will use its Tendril ESM Platform as part of an effort to identify around 50,000 of the company's users who are using electricity for heating. The two said they will provide personalized tips and information to those users, to encourage them to improve their energy efficiency and conservation. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed.
