Wilson Electronics Acquired By Sorenson Capital
Wilson Electronics, the manufacturer of cell phone signal boosters and related equipment, has been acquired by Salt Lake City investment firm Sorenson Capital. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. According to Wilson Electronics, the acquisition also included an investment from Solamere Capital. As part of the acquisition, Wilson Electronics has added Sorenson Capital's Fraser Bullock, Tim Layton, and LeGrand Lewis to its board of directors. Jim Wilson, who founded Wilson Electronics, will continue to serve on the company's board. The move comes only a month after the appointment of a new, Silicon Valley veteran as Wilson's CEO.
