EPIC Ventures Re-Ups On Zettaset
Salt Lake City-based EPIC Ventures is having a busy week for follow on investments, as Silicon Valley Hadoop management software firm Zettaset announced a new funding round. Zettaset said that it raised $10M in a Series B funding, which was led by HighBar Partners, and also included Broacde, DFJ, and EPIC Ventures. Zettaset has previously raised funding from EPIC Ventures. EPIC has been busy with follow on investments this week, participating in a $33M funding for user registration software developer JanRain on Monday, in additoin to this round with Zettaset. Both fundings came alongside other funds like with Draper Fisher Jurvetson; EPIC Ventures is one of the regional funds that are affiliated with the Silicon Valley investor.
