EPIC Ventures Re-Ups On HG Data

Salt Lake City-based venture investor EPIC Ventures has invested more in one of its portfolio companies, HG Data, in a new, $2M investment in that company. HG Data--which develops B2B sales and marketing tools--said it raised $2M in an additional Series A funding, which included EPIC Ventures, in a round led by new investor Rincon Venture Partners. EPIC Ventures' investment in HG Data is overseen by Kent Madsen. EPIC was the initial Series A investor in HG Data, which is based in Santa Barbara, California.
