Webroot Updates Security Tools
Broomfield, Colorado-based Webroot announced this morning that it has released new updates to its Webroot SecureAnywhere family of security products. According to the company, its 2013 edition now includes better performance, an improved user experience, and extended platform support. The company said that those features include better protection from suspicious programs being loaded from removable USB drives; offline protection even if a system is not connected to the Internet; a new "zero day" shield, and more. Other features also include improved online backup and file sync features.
