Webroot Launches Business Security Product
Broomfield, Colorado-based Webroot, the developer of security software, said today that it has launched a new, IT security software product aimed at businesses. The firm said its new, cloud-based software, Webroot SecureAnywhere Business - Endpoint Protection, provides a lightweight alternative to traditional security tools. The firm said its new product is based on its anti-malware technology from its consumer products, and includes such features as rolling back files, centralized monitoring by IT administrators, and better performance than traditional security tools. Pricing on the new product was not announced.
