Webroot Buys BrightCloud
Boulder, Colorado-based Webroot, a developer of Internet security tools, said today that it has acuqired BrightCloud, a web content classification and security services provider. FInancial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Webroot said it will integrated BrightCloud's technology with its own malware and security-as-a-service tools, and add BrightCloud's team to its Cloud Engineering team. BrightCloud is based in San Diego, California.
