Go Daddy Awards $100,000 In College Scholarships
Scottsdale-based domain name registrar and web services firm GoDaddy has awarded ten, $10,000 scholarships to college students, as part of a promotion of its .ME domain names. According to Go Daddy, the awards will go to pay for tuition and books. The winners were judged on essays about their passion for technology and their drive to make a difference. Three of the winners were from Arizona, including two students from Phoenix, and one from Tucson.
