Foundry Backs Google Apps Backup Firm
Boulder-based venture capital firm Foundry Group has backed a firm developing backup service for Google Apps, Spanning Cloud Apps. According to Spanning Cloud Apps, it has raised $2M in a funding, and added Foundry's Seth Levine to its board. Spanning Cloud Apps is headed by Charlie Wood, who previously served at NewsGator. The firm's service saves Google Calendar, Google Docs, and other data for users.
