Foundry Group Backs Cloud Data Backup Firm Spanning Cloud
Boulder-based venture capital firm Foundry Group is one of the investors in a developer of cloud-based, data backup services for Google Apps. Spanning Cloud Apps, which is based in Austin, Texas, said it raised $6M in a Series B funding on Wednesday, with funds coming from both Foundry Group and undisclosed, strategic investors. Spanning Cloud's data backup software is used for backing up Google Apps data.
