Foundry Backs Postini Founders
Boulder-based venture capital firm The Foundry Group has invested in a new startup headed by the founder of email security firm Postini, Foundry said Tuesday. Foundry said it has backed Authentic8, a new startup developing secure Internet browser technology, founded by Postini founder Scott Petry and Postini VP Ramesh Rajogopal. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed. Ryan McIntyre of Foundry was the lead investor on Postini when he was at Mobius Venture Capital. Postini was acquired by Google in 2007 by Google, for $625M.
