Graphic.ly Releases Android App
Boulder-based Graphic.ly, the online comic book software firm headed by Micah Baldwin, said Tuesday that it has officially released its Android phone application. The software, which is available in the Android Marketplace, allows users to read and buy comics from more than 150 publishers. Graphic.ly said it has more than 2,000 digital comics available from the software. Graphic.ly is backed by DFJ Mercury, 500 Startups, Dundee VC, Ludlow Ventures, and others. Graphic.ly's software now runs on the iPhone, iPad, Windows 7 Phone, Android, Google Chrome, Adobe AIR, and Windows 7.
