Graphic.ly Gains $3M
Boulder-based Graphic.ly, the online comic book software developer, has raised $3.0M, the firm announced today. The funding was led by DFJ Mercury, and also included 500 Startups, Dundee VC, Ludlow Ventures, and others. The round had earlier been revealed via a regulatory filing. Graphic.ly said the funding will go towards creating a "true digital entertainment experience". Graphic.ly is headed by Micah Baldwin. 500 Startups is one of the new generation of "super angel" funds, and is headed by angel investor Dave McClure.
