Utah Technology Council Looks To Boost Life Sciences With Hire
The Utah Technology Council, the Utah group focused on promoting high tech and life sciences businesses in the state, said today that it has named Dr. Michael Feldman as a Life Science Executive-in-Resident, as part of an effort to help support life science companies and programs in Utah. The UTC said the position was created for Feldman in a partnership with the Utah Science Technology and Research Initiative (USTAR) and Utah's Department of Workforce Services (DWS). Feldman was Deputy Director of the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympic Games Drug Testing Laboratory, and has served at Northwest Toxicology, LabOne/Quest Diagnostics, and BioMicro Systems, where he was most recently the firm's CEO and a director.
