SDCmaterials Secures $14M in Series B Funding
Tempe, Arizona-based SDCmaterials announced this morning that it has raised $14M in a second round of venture funding. The catalyst and additives producer said the Series B effort was led by first-time investor Invus Financial Advisors of New York and included participation from existing investors Emerald Technology Ventures, BASF Venture Capital and private individuals. Founded in 2004, SDCmaterials manufactures additives that help reduce automotive emissions and strengthen ceramics used in military applications. Emerald Technology Ventures is based in Zurich and Montreal. BASF Venture Capital is a subsidiary of German-based BASF Future Business GmbH.
