DigitalGlobe Gets Canadian Win
Longmont, Colorado-based DigitalGlobe has scored a win with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. DigitalGlobe said this week that its Canadian business partner, MDA Geosptial Services, has entered into a contract to provide DigitalGlobe's QuickBird satellite imagery to the Ministry. The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resource will use the imagery for supporting the Land Information Ontario project, which provides the public and government agencies with information about the province of Ontario. Financial terms were not disclosed. DigitalGlobe is a provider of commercial Earth imagery and geospatial information.
