Zayo Wins Dark Fiber Deal In Chicago

Boulder-based bandwidth provider Zayo Group has scored a dark fiber deal in Chicago, the company reported this morning, to connect six data center locations for an un-named customer. Zayo said the deal, for a "webscale cloud provider" will be used to connect six data center locations with 20 diverse segments. Financial impact of the win was not announced. Zayo currently has a 115,400 mile fiber network in North America and Europe.
