Threat X Finds $8.2M For Web Application Firewalls

Denver-based Threat X, a developer of web application firewall software (WAFS), said this morning that it has raised $8.2M in a Series A funding. The funding was co-led by Grotech Ventures and Access Venture Partners. Threat X's founder and CEO is Bret Settle. Settle previously was an executive at Corporate Express/Staples and BMC Software. Threat X said its software is being used by such customers as BMC Software, Denver Health, GHX, and Kroenke Sports and Entertainment. More information »
