MycoTechnology Raises $9.2M For Food Technology
Aurora, Colorado-based MycoTechnology, which is developing mushroom-based to improve the taste of such foods as coffee, chocolate, tea, wheat and stevia, has raised $9.2M in a Series A funding. The funding came from S2G (Seed 2 Growth) Ventures, Paris-based Seventure Partners, and Middleland Capital. MyCoTechnology is led by Alan Hahn. The company said the funds go towards expanding its team, and building a new facility. The company also said it plans to nearly double its head count over the next several months.
