AppFive Acquired By Czech Company
Tempe, Arizona-based AppFive, a developer of application software for scanning electron microscopes, has been acquired by Czech company TESCAN ORSAY HOLDING. Financial details of the deal were not announced. TESCAN ORSAY HOLDING develops scanning electron microscopes and related equipment. TESCAN said the buy will create a new software, R&D office for the company in the USA. TESCAN is based in Brno, Czech Republic.
