GeoPoll Raises $6.6M For Mobile Surveys
Denver-based GeoPoll has raised $6.6M in a funding round for its real-time, mobile survey software, the company said this week. The startup, led by James Eberhard, said it ha snow raised a total of $11.6M in funding. Name of the investors in the round were not announced. GeoPoll, which goes under the corporate name Mobile Accord, offers up its mobile polling apps to businesses and nonprofit organizations, across a global market. The company specifically offers up its solutions in Africa, Asia, and elsewhere to gain the opinions and insight of mobile users in those markets. Mobile Accord also runs the mGive mobile donation service.
