Denver-based Mocapay, which develops a mobile payment system used for gift cards, loyalty programs, and marketing, said Wednesday afternoon that it has raised $3.0M in funding. The round came from Spartan Mobile, Lacuna, and other unnamed investors. Mocapay said the new funding will go towards new customer implementation, business development, and enhancements to its platform.
