Gnip Powers Tumblr, Simply Measured Deal
Social photo sharing site Tumblr, and social analytics developer Simply Measured announced a social analytics deal Wednesday--all powered by data from Boulder's Gnip. Simply Measured, a provider of social media analytics, said in the deal with Tumblr that Tumblr's is offering up its enterprise-level analytics to marketers. The firms said the addition of the analytics comes thanks to Gnip's social data APIs, which is being gathered from Gnip's data streams. Financial aspects of the deal were not announced.
